FOREMAN/OPERATOR (CDL REQUIRED) | FULL-TIME

Summit Valley Outdoor Solutions, LLC is seeking a Foreman/Operator. This individual would have 3 years minimum experience, with a valid and current commercial drivers license, and be responsible for overseeing daily operations at a worksite to ensure the completion of projects in a safe and efficient manner.

To maximize efficiency and productivity, it is crucial for this Foreman/Operator to possess analytical skills for handling unexpected issues and delays while resolving any problems that may arise. Below are some of the responsibilities:

​

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Work with crew to ensure that all projects and operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications

  • Ensure highest level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld

  • Instruct and follow of all OSHA and Company Fall Safety procedures

  • Responsible as the crew leader for proper, accurate and timely submission of dailies and production reports

 

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities (include but are not limited to):

  • 3 years prior experience in construction, outdoor solutions, landscaping or related industries; leadership experience preferred

  • Able to perform the physical tasks required in this position for the entire assigned shift

  • Ability to operate various types of trucks and heavy equipment on jobsites

  • Drive and/or operate diesel or gasoline powered equipment to/from/on jobsite

  • Ability to move dirt, gravel, concrete, etc.; load dump and transfer trailers with materials; load equipment on trucks for transport

  • Experience using a project management software preferred, will train

  • Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations and policies

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.

 

Requirements:

  • Commercial drivers license

  • Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States
